Many of the odd uses of charcoal (snipped below) are actually based in 
fact, though somewhat over done in the advertising. Cosmetics, and here 
I include shampoos for dogs, have always been overpriced and overhyped, 
and as for the diet suplement market--- outer space is the limit.
