minnesota is smack within the sphere of acres USA outreach and
influence. the dec. 2006 conference was in st. paul, and 2004 was in
minneapolis. and acres USA february featured a cover story on terra
preta (attached), so it's already on their radar. but the article
makes little mention of pyrolysis to create biochar, hydrogen and
biofuel.
so, lets collaborate to be sure terra preta, biochar and pyrolysis are
on the agenda of the next acres USA conference, and in the pages of
their monthly magazine.

I agree 1000% with your ideas about getting the sustainable farming
eco-aware farming community involved. I'm trying to do that very same
thing here in Minnesota and make charcoal here for them to use. I
will share anything I learn or do with them to this group.
