[Terrapreta] Efficiently making charcoal

Hello All,

I keep forgetting to change the subject line. I didn't forget this time. Look up ^!

This initial "pyrolysis reactor" device I am building will be at scale that could be made portable, like on a truck skid.
It could be that the best way to make charcoal from biomass on farms, to put back into the soil on those same farms, would be to own and operate one of these "pyrolyzer" devices, then drive it around, farm to farm, and provide "charring" services for the new breed of "Terra Preta Farmers". It would be a new twist on the old profession called Collier; "You grow it, we char it!" The concept is kind of like the guys who own wheat harvesting combines and rent out their equipment and their services to do harvesting on big wheat farms. No farmers, not even the big guys, like to own equipment that sits idle most of the year.

New Colliers will be Terra Preta Farmers best friends and Terra Preta Farmers will be the New Colliers best clients. That's what cooperative business associations are all about, right?
