Peter Cundall is the Blue Rince Gardener's sex symbol
You would be amazed by his following at Garden Festivals.

The ABC website is worth a visit for anyone interested in plants.

Peter, overnight, just made the ABC Gardening Programme "organic" and got
away with it. Even though many of his presenters eat by virtue of chemical
companies.
When I did similar on local ABC radio they were shocked and horrified and
did not invite me back..

Amazingly he is much loved all over Australia; - there is a lot more to him
than first impressions give. He said once "So I'm 80 (?)what are they going
to do to me -fire me?!

Recently (2 days ago?) he was a little controversial because he told the
world what the Howard Environment Minister said about the Tamar Valley Pulp
Mill.
The Minister denied he had said anything against the mill
Who you going to believe?
A lay down mosaire -Peter

Thanks for the transcript I missed that, and I try to catch the show.
It is the longest running garden show in Australia.
The web site often has gems.
I recommend TP list members to visit from time to time.

Garden Australia's recent programme on biological control was a revaluation
to me and I thought I knew all about it..
(But if they tell me how to divide and re-pot ANY plant AGAIN I will scream
!)
