Climate Change / Pro-NaturaHi Guy,
Thank you for this post. Pro-Natura International's offer to sell carbon credits to offset carbon emissions from Air France flights is an enlightened step to take (Good Planet Action Carbon Program). Thank you for those efforts to make this happen. Hopefully, you will continue to expand your efforts and help develop Terra Preta as the improved step of producing "carbon negative" energy (an energy source with built-in carbon credits). Please help bring the processes of biomass conversion to charcoal (for soil improvement and carbon sequestration) and the production of usable transport fuels from biomass (synthetic automotive and jet diesel made from synthesis gas, which is made from biomass sources).
Please continue to push for advanced solutions to climate problems. Industry has the power to make things happen.
Regards,
Sean K. Barry

Dear Friends and Members of Pro-Natura,
The importance of spreading knowledge about climate change is emphasized by the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Al Gore. GreenFacts* is pleased to contribute, in collaboration with Pro-Natura International, to disseminating the most recent scientific findings on the subject by publishing a faithful, reader-friendly summary of the latest IPCC assessment report (see attached document).
Heartiest congratulations from the Pro-Natura team to Jean Jouzel, Vice-President of the IPCC.
We are also happy to announce that, through the GoodPlanet Action Carbon programme, Air France is now offering passengers the opportunity to offset their CO2 emissions with carbon credits from Pro-Natura's Green charcoal project in Senegal.
