[Terrapreta] re charring human waste, getting widespread TP started

I read your next e-mail, asking how we get the word out on TP. My
thought was to get a city to char its sludge before it's put on
fields, ie the metals and toxics have been mostly removed, and I have
got the guy in charge of that operation here in Austin interested.
He is already seeing about charring yard waste, mostly tree
trimmings. What will sell charring is a demonstration with results
established by experiment. Then it hits newspapers. Cities could be
eager to be the first in this new field and know people will need
fertile soil for starting to grow food. Besides, there's a profit
for the city in selling char-soil.

Another related route to go would be to interest people in investing
in forming a company that would serve cities for a fee. I know a
couple of people right now who would be interested but not in forming
the company. They would just buy stock once the company was formed.
I believe in keeping public funds and private funds separate. At
first at least, a city might not be interested in owning the kilns,
the biggest single expense. I'm just going to play it by ear, but if
you or anyone else in this list is interested in making a proposal,
I'll see that it gets into the right hands. This would also give it
publicity as a topic in the coming city elections.
