[Terrapreta] Ramial Chipped Wood (RWC)

I just received a proposal to finance a project through Carbon Finance. The
project consisted of Reforestation activities in Burkina Faso plus, the
interesting part, treating the soils with what is called Ramial Chipped Wood
(RWC). I am not sure if RWC has been mentioned here in the list but I wanted
to share it with you any way.

RWC consists of chipping branches and twigs of less than 7 cm which contain
soluble or little-polymerized lignin, the base for soil aggregates and
highly reactive humus. These small-size branches are not used as firewood,
even in the poorest tropical countries.

The Groupe de Coordination des Bois Raméaux (GCBR), directed by Professor
Gilles Lemieux from Laval University developed this approach. And the person
