I was just reviewing my links and ran across this Great Grant, and right in  
my back yard, but the dead line of Feb 6 seems impossible;

PRINCETON, WVa- The U.S. Forest Service Wood  Education and Resource Center 
WERC) is accepting applications for cost-share  demonstration projects. The 
Center anticipates funding to be approximately $1  million in grants for projects 
that focus on helping primary and secondary  hardwood industries in the 
eastern hardwood forest region sustain forest  products production. The final 
amount will be determined once the Forest Service  has received its official budget 
for fiscal year 2008.

Completed grant applications are due on or before  February 4, 2008. The 
application form and instructions can be found at the  WERC's Web site at
