there might be a useful rule/principle for most any energy list, and
that is you are allowed and encouraged to offer "x" number of posts
before you have to make or somehow directly interact with the topic of
concern of the list.  no making and/or doing and further posts are
discouraged.  of course this cannot be enforced, but it can be
encouraged.

speculation is a wonderful and valuable endeavor, but it seems better
when kept in balance with some actual iterative building and testing.

i generally skim this list and read only the posts from those i know
are actually doing something.  i also try to read all the posts from
names i have not seen before.  new people talking are usually more
interesting than old people repeating themselves.  especially if the
repeating is another co2 or climate change speculative insult-a-thon.

clearly many of us are finding the volume here too large to keep up with.
