I don't think tree burial is a goer
1. It would be socially unpopular

2. It would produce methane
3. encourage proliferation of home destroying white ants
4. Not last as long as charcoal or have its other benefits.

I think it would be a political and PR disaster for TP enthusiasts to get
behind it.

It is hard enough convincing people that burning things helps a burning
planet.
