Hi Laurens, 
The last paragraph of the French article cited says that contrary to the results above mentioned, a plantation of Acacia holosericea in Burkina Faso has shown an increase in microflora functional diversity. Appears to need an assessment not by tree species (only) but (also) by the nature of each local soil.
