[Terrapreta] Catalyst: Carbon Bigfoot

Hi Duane,

You say:

The promise of soil building inherent in the terra preta concept might be more attractive to humanity than generally vague and possibly incorrect models of climate change.

I find possibility of soil building and improving soil productivity very enticing too. But, making this actually work is perhaps even more vague, than the promise that Terra Preta offers to sequester carbon out of the atmosphere. If you read and understand what the IPCC researchers have done you will see that the scientific work is good, well supported , and there is a very strong argument that recent Global Warming is caused by the recent increases in Green House Gases, that are being emitted predominantly by humans from the burning of fossil fuels.

I really do not understand this reticence by reasonably sound minded people who wish to refute this argument? There are literally thousands and thousands of scientists who have studied Global Climate for many years, and who all agree to this conclusion. Their independent work of many supports the work of many others. There is more good science behind this than almost any other human scientific endeavor, including the "Man on the Moon" and the "Manhattan Project".

Get real, please?

Regards,

SKB
