Generating electric is wastefull. The energy to build a nuclear plant is about 
what it will generate in its life time, at least that is what I've read.

BUT it is possible to make charcoal for Terra Preta every time you cook, every 
time you drive your car, drive your truck, run a field tractor and etc.
