It is my studied opinion that adding biochar/charcoal to an industrial
farming system that incorporates anhydrous ammonia will not result in carbon
sequestration. The anhydrous will convert the charcoal to a non-stable form
of carbon that will convert to CO2 gas. To me it would completely negate
the objective.
Anhydrous ammonia is very effective at liquefying dried humates to a soluble
liquid form. A biological program is much more compatible with biochar and
carbon sequestration in my opinion.
