[Terrapreta] Strong warning against "simple" charcoal kilns

Hi Kurt,

What is your point?

1) Feed the world by improving soil fertility

2) Reduce GHG concentrations in the atmosphere

3) Supply the worlds energy demand when fossil fuels are dwindling into expensive and rare commodities.

Do you have a proposal that can address these three problems more effectively than Terra Preta Nova has the promise to do?
Would you suggest that any of these three posted problems IS NOT ONE we (as a human population) need to address?
Do you, too, think, that AGW and impending GCC are unimportant factors when considering what the production of charcoal for the development of TP soils is?

Regards,

SKB

  Hi folkes,

Hands up all those who have "Strongly warned" against Folkes simple kiln
concept, who are NOT working on developing a sophisticated highly
efficient pyrolises system with the idea of marketing it to the world to
make the gigatons of bio-char we will need to reverse GW.

  Anybody???

  Kurt
