*As I see it, it is a great idea, least that you can ctach and dry the algae
without expeling more carbon dioxide that they sequester, e.g. by passive
cathcing and sun drying.
The algae contain a lot of elements (e.g. P, Si) useful to the soil
microoganisms. I don't know if these elements will be inactivated by the
charring process. In that case it might be better for he plants to mix the
dried algae with char from another source.
