Hmmm.............
Perhaps, I am at fault here. I am not really interested in flammable gasses - least wise other than the fact that they can be rerouted back to the burn area, to be burnt, to reduce the required biomass that is needed to fuel the process.
I thought that my reference to the Jatta retort,

Now if I can, I'm much more interested in the recovery of flammable liquid that can be used in vehicles to haul in more biomass, to turn into char ( and fuel the process ).

I think. Like I said I have not read it. There are some youtube videos out there that show some of it.
Basicaly when you make char you also set off burnable gasses (more like natural gas than hydrogen)
that can be captured and used (like to run your car)
The little stove is pretty interesting also...
