[Terrapreta] NZ leading the way

Hi All,

We need to be careful about stereotypes -- of any kind.

During my time with the US protect-the-ancient-forest movement there was
strong support from groups of Evangelical Christians who were also social
conservatives. Actually, the only non-indigenous religious tradition of low
consumption and earth stewardship appears also within evangelical
Christianity. The Amish farm is a model of sustainable agriculture.

Just as there are many versions of capitalist, socialist and entrepreneurial
schemes, there is a great diversity within religious lineages. BUT the vast
majority of all have been taken by the extractor-consumer model of the
industrial age.

hugs,

lou
