[Terrapreta] Fw: if yer not forest...

Hi David,

Bandwidth, schmandwidth ... We don't see things the same way. This isn't about ducking acorns and you know it. I see you produce lots of 'bandwidth' yourself. But, you don't discuss anything of the topic too deeply. Instead, you wax on about "the good ole days" and seem to get defensive about what you've said and/or how I say what it implied to me.

I'm very sorry to waste your time by not communicating complete agreement with you about everything you type.

I will continue to try and understand what you say. I will never question any of it ever again, if that will keep you tuning in, okay?

I just wish you could stay topic specific, rather than emotionally rapt in "who thought he thought what".

exaggerated, misspelled, grammatically incorrect, sans capital letters, distorted, turning, inflated, imaginations, over-reactions, propose, extrapolated, modest, difficult, distorts, corrupts, restrain, mentality, sacred?

Where is the meat, man? No body cares about who feels how here. No body cares about how I feel. Could you please address the topics of discussion?

Have you noticed that you quit saying anything about Terra Preta quite a few postings back?

Be at peace, will you? We don't know each other well enough to be "friends", but I am not your enemy. Please don't get too bent out of shape with me, just because I don't only tell you write "Thank you, David, you write so eloquently!"

And, Okay, fine, think whatever you like ... that's what I do.

Regards,

SKB

once again, you didn't read my email carefully.

i said you injected ideas and assumptions into what i said, and thereby exagerated and distorted the statements i was making, turning them into inflated expressions of your own inaccurate imaginations. for example, i never suggested, proposed or even implied we should try to feed 6 billion people with acorns. that was your own over-reaction and extrapolation of my own modest idea.

nor would i ever suggest such an absurd idea as feeding the world on oak nuts. it would frighten and piss off the world's squirrels, and i'd be pelted with acorns whenever i went outside in my garden.

i find it difficult and frustrating to communicate with someone who distorts and corrupts my own statements, and then criticizes me and argues gainst their own projections and fantasy as if they were mine. i have far better things to do than frequently correct and restrain such a mentality.

if you want to burn up bandwidth and time being critical, please only criticize what i say, not some overblown idea of what you project and distort my words to mean. otherwise, i'll have routinely ignore and delete your emails.

    Hi David,

I'm sorry if you felt what I said was too critical of you. I just don't think that your proposals can really grapple with the scope of the problem we are faced with.
