[Terrapreta] Promoting biochar in an era of high food prices

Maybe it's a good idea for the "biochar community" to use the debate about the acute global food crisis as an occasion to point to the potential of biochar to enhance agricultural productivity, especially in the tropics.

Not sure how we could do this, but the time is ripe to point to the potential benefits of biochar when it comes to boosting yields of basic crops like maize, rice and cassava.

Anyone any suggestions on how to get more news out?
