[Terrapreta] A supplement to the Terra Preta concept?

Dear Colleagues,

 

I just learned that a local entrepreneur and farmer will be speaking here in
a couple of weeks on his invention of a process to incorporate fossil fuel
combustion products  into the soil as fertilizer with  claims some carbon
from CO2 will be trapped in the soil by bacteria.  There are two websites
devoted to the concept and there is also a very long patent application
posted on the Internet.
