[Terrapreta] Wood as source of mercury emissions?

Involved in a discussion on another list ( mercury and cement ), and one guy mentioned that wood is a source of mercury and as proof, he offered up this little tid bit:

As only the wood burning facilities were tested and not the source wood, I'm inclined to believe that it is more hysteria, than actual science, but, wanted to get the opinion of folks that have more experience involving in the heating and oxidation of wood than myself.
